BICSI established its credential programs to provide a level of assurance to the industry and to consumers that an individual has knowledge in a designated area of information technology systems (ITS) design or installation. Our professional designations are valued internationally and are recognized throughout the ITS industry.
Our cornerstone credential is the BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD
®). It recognizes individuals educated in the proper design, integration and implementation of telecommunications and data communications technology systems. The RCDD credential is valued internationally, conveying extensive knowledge in design and project management and is so well respected that many requests for proposals (RFPs) require an RCDD on staff.
